Prof. Dr. K. Murugan presently working as a Registrar i/c & Professor and Head, Department of Zoology, earlier he was Vice-Chancellor at Thiruvalluvar University (State University), Vellore, Tamil Nadu from 2016 to 2019. He has done cutting-edge research on the synergy among plant-borne compounds with microbial insecticides and arthropod predators for the successful control of insect pests of medical and agricultural importance. He has 30 years of research and teaching experience: Earlier, he occupied several important positions such as Additional Director, DRDO-BU-CLS (Ministry of Defence, Govt. Of India), Director i/c, Research and Development Centre, Bharathiar University, Professor and Head, Department of Zoology, and Human Genetics and Molecular Biology, Bharathiar University, Scientist/Station Director, Indian Cardamom Research Instt. (Min. of Commerce), Govt. of India. He has won many awards for his scientific achievements Recently, he has been awarded “Top Scientist” in the field of Mycology & Parasitology by Stanford University Scientist, 2020.

Dr. Ghulam Md Ashraf is working as Associate Professor in King Fahd Medical Research Center, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He has a PhD degree in Biochemistry with over eleven years of teaching and research experience in various disciplines of biological and medical sciences. Dr. Ashraf has taught various subjects like Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Medical Lab Technology, Molecular Biology, Neurology, and Recombinant DNA Technology at graduate and post-graduate levels. His primary fields of research are biochemistry and neurology, currently focusing on understanding the molecular and behavioral mechanism of effects of anti-diabetic drugs in psychotic and dementia conditions. Dr. Ashraf’s lab is currently investigating the effect of anti-diabetic drugs in dementia, and their role in possible attenuation/reversal of antipsychotic drugs induced weight gain in psychotic conditions. He is also investigating molecular and behavioral mechanisms of novel therapeutic combinations in multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Ashraf has published 296 research articles (citations: 6324, H-index: 41, i10 index: 155) and has been involved in 23 research grants [16 ongoing (13 PI, 3 CoI) and 7 completed (4 PI, 3 CoI)]. Dr. Ashraf is also involved in editorial roles in renowned scientific journals like Journal of Advanced Research (Associate Editor), Scientific Reports (Senior EBM), PLoS One (Academic Editor) and Current Neuropharmacology (Section Editor). Dr. Ashraf has 266 Publons verified editor records, and 496 Publons verified reviewer records. He is professionally associated with the Royal Society of Medicine (Fellow), Royal Society of Biology (Member), American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Member) and Canadian Association of Neuroscience (Member). Most recently, he has been listed in Top 2% Scientists Worldwide, announced by Elsevier BV (Baas et al., 2021).

Dr. Atul Bhargava is currently working as Associate Professor, Department of Botany at Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar, India. He completed his PhD in 2005 from National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow and postdoctoral studies from Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Cytogenetics at the University of Delhi. Dr. Atul Bhargava specializes in genetic improvement of crop plants, phytoremediation and nanobiotechnology. He has about 55 research papers in reputed journals, 5 books and numerous book chapters to his credit. He also has more than 3500 citations to his work. Dr. Atul Bhargava is also serving as an editorial board member of several international journals of repute.

Prof. D. N. Kamra has been working in the field of Animal Nutrition (Rumen Microbiology) research, teaching, and administration for 44 years (1978-2022). He has got over 300 publications. Five top papers have been quoted by 1650 researchers in their publications. He has total citations of 5015, with an h-index of 35 and an i10-index of 89. He has been awarded 13 times by different organizations i.e. Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Award and Bharat Ratna Dr. C. Subramaniam Award for Outstanding Teacher by the ICAR, New Delhi. He was awarded Fellowship of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences), Dr. B. Bhattacharya Award and Recognition Award of NAAS have been conferred by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi. Three authorities in India (CLFMA, Animal Nutrition Association, and Indian Society for Buffalo Development) have conferred Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Animal Science. He published 10 books and edited 6 books which are accepted well by the students and teachers of Animal Nutrition and allied subjects.

Dr. Artabandhu Sahoo graduated (BVSc & AH) in 1988 and did specialization (MVSc & PhD) in Animal Nutrition from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar. He joined Agricultural Research Services as a Scientist in 1993 and now he is the Director, ICAR-National Research on Camel. He received Endeavour Research Fellowship-2009 by DEEWR, Govt. of Australia. His major field of research activities are neonatal nutrition, feed resources, feeding systems & evaluation, rumen ecology, clinical nutrition & dietetics, environment-nutrition interaction. He has more than 500 publications with ~185 peer-reviewed research papers and Google Scholar rating with a 24 H-Index, 60 i10-index (~2200 Citations). He received ‘Life-Time Achievement Award’ for research & development imbibing Nutrition and Welfare of animals and allied societal development.

Dr. Neeti Sanan-Mishra is leading the Plant RNAi Biology Group at ICGEB, New Delhi. Her research group aims to understand and use RNAi based technology for crop improvement and protection, to address the emerging challenges for sustaining agriculture. Her group’s primary research interest is towards understanding the miRNA networks involved in regulating plant development in response to virus infection and abiotic stress. These studies have also been useful in understanding the molecular mechanism of host virus interactions. They have also demonstrated the use of a plant miRNA to enhance the yield of rice.

Dr. Venkatesan, J, MSc., MPhil., PhD. is presently working as a research professor at Hanyang University ERICA, Seoul, South Korea and an assistant professor in Yenepoya Research Centre (YRC), Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore, Karnataka. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Division of Bioengineering, Incheon National University, Incheon, South Korea. In addition, he worked as a Research Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Marine Bioprocess Research Center (MBPRC) at Pukyong National University, South Korea. He received his master of science in chemistry from Thiruvalluvar University in 2005. Further, he received his PhD. from Pukyong National University in 2011. His primary research interests are investigating and developing materials from marine sources for biomedical applications. Furthermore, his research works include the investigation of natural biomaterials for tissue engineering and drug delivery applications. He has published more than 160 research papers with an h-index of 44 and holds four patents.

Dr. Vivek, H.K obtained his Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Mysore. Later he joined Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru, and worked on the purification and isolation of taste peptides, and it was patented. After completing the project, he enrolled for Ph.D in Applied Science (Biotechnology) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgium. During his doctoral studies, he was awarded CSIR-Senior Research Fellow, and Ph. D Student Assistantship from TEQIP (Govt of India). In the year 2016, he was awarded Ph. D and joined M/s. Syngene International as Senior research associate at the Discovery Chemistry-Analytical Research and Development division. Dr. Vivek specialized in Venom Biology, Analytical Biochemistry, Medical Chemistry, Enzyme Technology, and Computational Biology. He has published 58 research papers and guided more than 30 Master students for their dissertation. He is also working on academic-industry collaboration and consultancy. He is also a reviewer for several international journals published by Elsevier, Bentham Science and Royal Society of Chemistry.

Ajar Nath Yadav is an Associate Professor and Assistant Controller of Examinations at Eternal University, Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, India. He has 8 years of teaching and 12 years of research experience in the field of microbial biotechnology. Dr. Yadav has 250 publications with h-index 65, i10-index 190, and 12000 citations (Google Scholar). Dr. Yadav is the editor of 31 books (Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, Taylor and Francis). Dr. Yadav has published 131 research communications. He has one granted patent “Insecticidal formulation of novel strain of Bacillus thuringiensis AK 47” to his credit. Dr. Vijay K Bharti has more than 16 years of research experience in Veterinary Science, Life Sciences, and Biomedical Sciences at different organizations in different capacities. He is presently working as a Scientist. His fields of interest are High-Altitude physiology and nutrition, Gut-microbial biology, Water quality and metal toxicology, Metal nanoparticles, and Chronobiology-pineal gland.

Irfan Ahmad Bhat has done Masters’s and Ph.D. in Fish Genetics and breeding from ICAR- CIFE. He has contributed to almost 40 research papers published in high-quality journals as well as several articles and book chapters. His main area of research is molecular endocrinology in fishes, genotoxicity, and nanotoxicology. Dr. Bhat received the Young Scientist award by Alltech, USA for his outstanding work in the Ph.D. program and the best Ph.D. thesis award by ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai, India. Dr. Irfan Bhat worked as an Assistant Professor in Fish Breeding and Genetics, College of Fisheries Sciences, Gumla, Jharkhand, India for three years. He was awarded a fellowship for postdoctoral research by the Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (TÜBITAK) under European Commission Horizon 2020 Marie Sk³odowska-Curie Actions Cofund program Co-Funded Brain Circulation2 Scheme (CoCirculation2). He is currently working as a research scientist at the University of Iceland in the school of biology, Institute of Life and Environmental Sciences.

Dr. Debkumar Chakraborty received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Punjabi University in 2015 and then went to Hong Kong Baptist University for postdoctoral study on solid waste management (2015-2016). He has also served as a Research Assistant at BITS Pilani's Hyderabad campus, as well as an Assistant Professor at Jain University in Bangalore and Chandigarh University in Punjab. From June 2017-August 2019, he had been working as SERB-NPDF at CSIR-IICT. At present, he is working as CSIR-SRA in pool scientist scheme in School of Environmental Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur, India. He has more than 6 years of experience in teaching and research. His primary research interests are Applied Microbiology and Solid Waste Management, with a particular emphasis on the production of Bioenergy and chemicals within the context of an integrated Sludge, Food waste, and other solid waste system. Dr. Debkumar has published 28 research articles and three book chapters.

Dr. Vivek Dhar Dwivedi is a Scientist/Group Leader at Centre for Bioinformatics, Computational and Systems Biology, Pathfinder Research and Training Foundation, Greater Noida, India. His specializations are in antiviral drug discovery, Bioinformatics database and software development. Currently, he is working to provide Bioinformatics-based solutions for managing Viral Infections. He has published more than 50 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and attended several international and national conferences. He has 35 accessions in NCBI, GenBank to his credit. Previously, Dr. Dwivedi has also worked as an Assistant Professor in Uttaranchal College of Science & Technology, Dehradun, where, apart from teaching, he has also supervised dissertations of graduate and postgraduate students. He is also a member of The World Society for Virology and editorial board member of Scientific reports journal of Nature publishing group.

Dr. Anupam Nath Jha has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Assam from more than ten years. He has done his PhD in Computational Biophysics from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He has obtained his Bachelors and Master’s degree in Physics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. The specific areas of research are Computational Biophysics, Structural Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Genome informatics and drug discovery. A number of research publications, book chapters and scientific research projects are to his credit. Three students have received their doctoral degree under his guidance.

Govindan Krishnan did Ph.D. in Veterinary Physiology in 2013 from Tanuvas, Chennai. He is a member of a number of societies such as Society for Animal Physiologist of India, Animal Physiologists Association, etc. He is reviewer for Scientific Reports Frontiers Environmental Science, Journal of Agricultural Science, Current Science, Comparative etc. He received a number of awards such as The Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Junior Research Fellowship on the basis of All India entrance for Pursuing M.V.Sc Programme at Indian Veterinary Research Institute, India. Krishnan, G., has been ranked on the 6th position in the top 10 highly productive authors of Animal Division in ICAR during April 2009-March 2010. He also received the Seven Best Paper Presentation Awards for the best papers presented in various national and international conferences. He has expertise in Heat Stress Disorders. Dr. Krishnan has around 231 publications, 27 book chapters and 36 conference papers and 8 technical manuals. His H-index is 16 (27/02/2022 – Google Scholar), his i10-Index is 22 (27/04/2022 – Google Scholar) and his total citations are 1223 (27/04/2022 – Google Scholar). He supervised 5 post graduate students.

Dr. Rajadurai Murugan completed M.Sc., M. Phil., Ph.D., in Biochemistry from the Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamilnadu, India. Presently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Life & Allied Health Sciences, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He has published 46 Research papers in peer reviewed national and international journals, and 3 book chapters. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience, guided 3 Ph.D., and 18 M.Phil., research scholars, participated, presented and delivered guest lectures in more than 50 national and international conferences. He is a Visiting Faculty in Biocon Academy, Biocon Limited, Bangalore, BOS member in Bangalore Central University. He is serving as a reviewer, editorial board member and lead guest editor in several international journals.
