Prof. Saha is a full professor of chemistry in the department of chemistry, The University of Burdwan, Bardhaman, WB, India. He obtained his PhD degree under Prof. Asim K. Das, Visva Bharati, on electron transfer reaction in micellar media. In addition, Saha was a postdoctoral fellow at UBC, Vancouver, Canada, with Prof. C. Orvig. His area of interest is organic transformations, catalysis, surfactant chemistry and bioremediation. He has published more than 130 research articles in reputed journals.

Dr. Bubun Banerjee received his Ph.D. degree in 2016 from the Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India. He has six years of teaching as well as research experience. Presently, he is working as an assistant professor of chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, Punjab, India. He has published more than 85 research as well as review articles all in internationally reputed peer reviewed journals. He is the author/co-author of ten book chapters and co-edited seven books. As a guest editor, he has edited seven special thematic issues for the journals like Current Organic Chemistry, Current Green Chemistry, Current Organocatalysis, Current Microwave Chemistry, Anti-Cancer Agents in Medicinal Chemistry published by Bentham Science Publishers. He has already supervised one M.Phil as well as one PhD student. Presently, four other PhD students are carrying out their research work under his active supervision. His research interests are focused on the development of novel synthetic methodologies for biologically relevant compounds with special emphasis on greener aspects. He is an honorary member of ACS, RSC and SIGMA XI.

Professor H M Chawla received PhD from University of Delhi in 1974. He taught chemistry at Delhi University during 1971-82 and at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi from (1982-2015), where he became Head of the Department (2001-2004) and Professor [HAG]. He has been a postdoctoral Fulbright scholar at SUNY Binghamton, New York (1981-1982) and a visiting Professor at several reputed institutions. He gave numerous invited lectures in more than ten prominent countries and functioned as National Advisor to Government of India (2016-2020). Professor Chawla has been the President of Organic Chemistry Section of Indian Council of Chemists. He worked in diverse areas of Organic Chemistry and distinguished himself for calixarene based investigations for ionic and molecular recognition. He has authored more than 210 original research papers, 6 patents, 10 books, in addition to mentoring over 33 PhDs and 40 Postdoctoral associates. He is the winner of several academic recognitions like Lockheed-Martin Gold Medal and Burhani foundation NEERI (CSIR), National Research and Development Corporation and Prof. M N Desai awards and 6 Patents in addition to prestigious oration presentations.

Dr. Gaonkar received his PhD degree in synthetic organic chemistry from University of Mysore, India (2007). He was the JSPS postdoctoral fellow at AIST, Japan and worked on microwave assisted synthesis of drug seeds (2008-2010). He was a postdoctoral fellow at AstraZeneca India and worked on drug development (2011). Also worked with pharmaceutical companies and got rich experience in pharmaceutical development. His areas of research interest are Organic Synthesis, Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry, Drug discovery/development and Material Chemistry. Currently, working as Professor at Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE, Manipal. He published more than 100 research papers and got 6 patents into his credits, has Scopus H-index of 20.

Prof. Rakesh Kumar Sharma is the Coordinator of Green Chemistry Network Centre, University of Delhi, India. He is a fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and the Honorary Secretary of RSC London (North India Section). Apart from this, he is also a member of American Chemical Society (ACS) and the faculty advisor of the International Student Chapter of ACS at the University of Delhi. He is also an Honorary Professor at Deakin University, Australia. After obtaining his Ph.D. in 1986 from University of Delhi, Prof. Sharma worked on the JSPS Post- Doctoral Fellowship at University of Tokyo and Kumamoto University. He has successfully supervised the research work of 43 Ph.D. and M. Phil students and published more than 160 research as well as review articles in renowned international journals of RSC, ACS, Wiley and Elsevier. Recently, he has been nominated as the series advisor of RSC Green Chemistry Book Series. Apart from this, he is also the editorial board member of Current Research in Green and Sustainable Chemistry, a primary research, gold open access journal of Elsevier Publications and the ambassador of Bentham Publications. Prof. Sharma has authored several books of World Scientific, Wiley and Stanford Publications. His research interests primarily focus on the fabrication of organic-inorganic hybrid nanomaterials for their applications as scavengers, sensors and catalysts, etc. He has been awarded the Certificate of Appreciation for being the “Highly Cited Researcher-2021” by RSC. He has also been identified among World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University.

Dr. T. R. Swaroop is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Studies in Organic Chemistry, University of Mysore, Mysuru. He received a Ph. D from the University of Mysore. He has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada and the Guangxi Normal University, China. He is a visiting scientist at the Yildiz Technical University, Turkey and the Utrecht University, The Netherlands. He has received eleven gold medals and eight cash prizes. In addition, he has witnessed the Republic Day Parade as a guest of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. He has published more than 59 research articles.

Dr. Thrimurtulu Neetipalli completed his Bachelor Sciences (B.Sc) and Master Sciences (M.Sc) from Andhra University, India. He then obtained a CSIR-JRF fellowship for Ph.D and joined CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad, India. Subsequently, Dr. Thrimurtulu gained research experience from different universities. Before joining Harvard University, Thrimurtulu worked in 11T-Bombay as the Principal Investigator under the DST-Young Scientist Scheme in the Department of Science and Technology. In 2017, he joined Prof. Andrew G Myers group at Harvard University, USA, as a postdoctoral fellow. He is currently working in Adesis, a pharmaceutical company in the USA as a Senior Research Scientist (Chemist). His research interest is in synthesis of biologically active molecules for human medicine development and OLED materials for devices.

Dr. Meghshyam K. Patil is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Sub-Campus Osmanabad. His research interest is photo-catalysts, heterogeneous catalysts, and organic transformations. He has published thirty-four research papers in well-reputed international journals.

Subham Bhattacharjee completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from North Bengal University. After completing his Ph.D. from the Department of Organic Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India under the supervision of Prof. Santanu Bhattacharya, he continued in the same group as a post-doc and worked in collaboration with Prof. C. N. R. Rao. Then, he moved to the Netherlands and joined Prof. Rint Sijbesma’s group in February 2016 as a post-doc and continued until joining as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol in March 2019. His current research interest lies in developing various supramolecular nanostructured materials and their applications.

Dr. Samir Kumar Mandal received his Ph. D. degree from The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, India. Dr. Mandal did his Post-Doctoral Research from the City College, City University of New York. His research field is synthetic development of some medicinally active chemicals mainly based on radical methodology and green methodology, chemicals toxicology and medicinally important fluoro-organics synthesis. He had adequate experiences in GMP and cGMP practices of APIs and of CRO based pharmaceuticals. He worked as a lecturer at the Prasannadeb Womens’ College, University of North Bengal and a prestigious Young Scientist in the Department of Chemistry, Kalyani University. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor at Saldiha College, Bankura University. He has published review articles, seminar books, proceedings and more than 20 research articles in different journals of National and International repute. He is serving as reviewer of national and international journals. He is a life-member of several scientific associations.

Dr. Hitendra M. Patel is a Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, Sardar Patel University, Gujarat, India. He was admitted as a Fellow and an Elected Member of the Organic Division Council, The Royal Society of Chemistry, London. He is a Review Editor in Organic Chemistry section, Frontiers in Chemistry Journal and Editorial board member of Frontiers in Chemistry and in Arkivoc journal. He has 22 and 15 years of rich experience in Teaching and Research, respectively. He has membership in many national and international professional organizations like RSC, ACS, ICS, ISCB etc. His research group focuses on Organic Chemistry for the Development of Bioactive Heterocyclic Scaffolds via Multi-component reactions, utilizing a Sustainable Chemistry approach and results have been published in more than 30 research papers in reputed journals related to Organic Chemistry. He has been granted two projects of rupees 51.81 lakh from National agencies like DST-SERB and UGC, New Delhi. He was selected as a Brand ambassador of Bentham Science Publisher for the Year of 2018-2019. He has given many invited talks at the National and International level in Conferences and Universities and has received many awards. He is an expert reviewer in many highly reputed Journals with more than 140 reviewed papers.

Dr. S. Rajasekhara Reddy did M.Sc in organic chemistry from Andhra University in India in 2002. He worked as a Junior Research Fellow at IITG, India, under Dr. T. Punniyamurthy (2003-04). In 2010, he received a Ph.D. from IITM, India, under Professor Anju Chadha. He served as an Assistant Professor at VIT University in Vellore till 2014. Currently, he is serving as an Associate Professor. He did his postdoctoral work at NTNU, Taiwan with Prof. Ching Fa Yao. His major research focuses on synthetic organic chemistry applied to catalysis, medicinal chemistry, asymmetric synthesis, and chemistry from natural carbohydrates. He is also meticulously performing his duties in teaching and guiding UG, PG students, and has been awarded five Ph.D. 's and currently guiding six.

Dr. Debayan Sarkar is presently an associate professor of chemistry at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, Odisha, India. He has completed his M.Sc. with organic chemistry specialization from University of North Bengal (NBU) in 2005 followed by a PhD in organic synthesis from IACS Kolkata in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. R. V. Venkateswaran. He completed his post-doctoral studies from the Stanford University (USA) under the mentorship of Prof. Barry M.Trost. He has been recently deputed as a visiting senior assistant professor at Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tohoku University (Japan) under the mentorship of Prof. M. Yamaguchi (2015-2016). He has been the recipient of prestigious awards like INSPIRE, BRNS-DAE Young Scientist Award (2014), Indo-US Research Award (2012) etc. His research interest includes dearomatisation reactions, atom economic couplings, complex total synthesis of natural products. he has published 50 papers in International Journals of repute, guided 5 Ph.D students and presently 15 Ph.D students are working under his supervision.
